IASTM Scraping Therapy

About IASTM Scraping Therapy

IASTM (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilisation), sometimes called scraping therapy, uses smooth-edged stainless steel tools to work on muscles and connective tissue. The tools help your practitioner feel areas of restriction and apply controlled pressure along the tissue.

It is often used for overuse-related stiffness and areas that feel tight or restricted, and it is combined with stretching, strengthening advice and other manual techniques. Pressure is always adjusted to you, and temporary redness of the skin is normal.

Как это работает

We identify the restricted areas and confirm that the technique is suitable for you.

Controlled strokes are applied with a smooth tool and a light lubricant.

We give you guidance on aftercare, mobility and exercise to maintain your progress.

Who is it for?

  • People with tightness in specific muscle groups
  • Those with overuse-related stiffness
  • Active people wanting recovery support
  • Anyone who prefers a precise, hands-on approach
  • Adults aged 18 and over suitable for soft tissue work

Pressure is adjusted throughout the session to what feels right for you.
